Candle Safety & Use Instructions

To enjoy your candle safely and get the best performance from it, please follow these guidelines:

Before Lighting

• Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use to ensure a clean, even burn and to prevent soot or large flames.
  
• Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, fans, and vents.
  
• Keep away from flammable objects, including curtains, paper, and décor.
  

While Burning

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  
• Allow the candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the surface to prevent tunneling.
  
• Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time to protect the wick and container.
  
• If the flame becomes too high or flickers excessively, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight.
  

Extinguishing Your Candle

• Use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish without smoke.
  
• Avoid blowing out the candle directly, as this can cause splashing or soot.
  

After Use

• Allow the candle to cool completely before handling or moving.
  
• Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, or debris.
  
• Stop use when ¼ inch of wax remains to prevent overheating the container.
  

General Safety

• Do not use the candle as a nightlight.
  
• Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire.
  
• Always store candles in a cool, dry place when not in use.
