CARE & MAINTENANCE
Candle Safety & Use Instructions
To enjoy your candle safely and get the best performance from it, please follow these guidelines:
Before Lighting
- Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use to ensure a clean, even burn and to prevent soot or large flames.
- Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, fans, and vents.
- Keep away from flammable objects, including curtains, paper, and décor.
While Burning
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Allow the candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the surface to prevent tunneling.
- Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time to protect the wick and container.
- If the flame becomes too high or flickers excessively, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight.
Extinguishing Your Candle
- Use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish without smoke.
- Avoid blowing out the candle directly, as this can cause splashing or soot.
After Use
- Allow the candle to cool completely before handling or moving.
- Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, or debris.
- Stop use when ¼ inch of wax remains to prevent overheating the container.
General Safety
- Do not use the candle as a nightlight.
- Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire.
- Always store candles in a cool, dry place when not in use.
